Edit: The same job that I previously paid $60 for at this establishment and was told it would need to be $135 this time because of "stripped lugnuts" took 15 minutes at another shop for $30. Rene is rude and incompetent. After reading through the positive reviews, I'm confident Geiling has scammed several people. I brought my car in to have a tire mounted that I had already purchased. Before 8 a.m., I received a call trying to sell me a new tire. After I explained that I already had one and only needed the mounting service, I received another call about 30 minutes later claiming my lug nuts were stripped and that it was a safety issue. The lug nuts in question are the same ones shown in the attached photos. They were clearly visible before the vehicle was brought in, and I have since confirmed they are not stripped. This makes me question whether the shop simply didn't want to perform a smaller job or whether the issue was incorrectly diagnosed. Either way, the experience significantly damaged my trust in this business. If a legitimate safety concern existed, I would have expected clear evidence and an accurate explanation. Instead, I was given information that appears to have been incorrect. I had been planning to bring my wife's vehicle here for a much larger repair, but after this experience I will be taking our business elsewhere. I was particularly disappointed with how this was handled by Renee.
Good Morning , The lug nuts on the Wheel that the tire was to be replaced were starting to round out and you were advised that the nuts would probably need to be replaced and you declined that . It has nothing to do with it being a "small job ".
