I was recommended to Geilings by a friend. I went years ago for the first time & loved the work & customer service I recieved. I got a newer car after not having one for 3 years. I've been taking it to the dealership for all the oil changes as needed & they told me I needed brakes this last visit. They quoted me $675 with $400 being labor. I took it to Geilings & not only did I not need new brakes yet but they did the brake fluid flushing & cleaning of the pads & expection/readjusting the pads for under $250. I don't mind paying the professionals (as I am one myself), but I appreciate someone that is honest about the work before anything else. I've been recommending this place to everyone & I even travel from the Westbank to use them. Thank y'all for everything! You'll be seeing me the next time I need anything done.

Solid auto mechanic service in a convenient location in east Metairie. I got an oil change and a tire inspection that turned up an embedded nail, which they repaired. I've been going to Geiling a few years now and find them dependable and reasonably priced.

Great work and prompt, friendly service

I've been going to Geiling Auto for 3 years now for all of my car servicing! They are professional and very female friendly - something difficult to find in Louisiana. They've always done what's in my best interest without taking advantage of the fact that I'm not knowledgeable about car mechanics. They call before replacing even $5 parts, give me price and timing options; we discuss safety and the cost/benefit to me before proceeding with suggested repairs. Service is extremely timely! They also arranged to have my CarMax extended warranty cover most of the repairs needed, without me ever having to deal with the insurance. When I've gone on long trips to Chicago and Phoenix, I would take my car to Geiling for a major check and feel comfortable that it was safe for me to drive! I wouldn't use another car service and would highly recommend Geiling if you're looking for an honest, professional and fair practice!
