Don't bother coming to this auto shop unless you're a middle-aged (or older) white person. I felt like they didn't want me there. I brought my car in for them to diagnose my check engine light. They did at least give me a call to tell me what they thought the issue was, but upon picking up my car the next day, the "gentleman" up front just gave me the printout with the parts and labor descriptions and told me he'll go get my car. He didn't give me an explanation or anything! YET, he gave ample time, patience, and communication with the other two customers in the office. He basically brushed me off, and I don't appreciate that. After I asked for someone to explain the situation multiple times, he finally did (probably just to get me out of there). And apparently they don't take warranties for any engine work-- which is fine--but I had the money to pay without the warranty, actually. But after the way they made me feel, I wouldn't let them touch my car ever again.
I sincerely apologize for your experience today. I thought that you just requested a print out of the recommended repairs. It is correct that we do not do internal engine repairs at all much less with an extended warranty. I just didn’t understand why you would want to spend the money out of your pocket when you have a warranty that you have paid for. I did explain to you why we were recommending the replacement of the timing chain.Once again, I’m sorry for the way it was handled
